Windows 7 Phone - C# XNA

Our Windows 7 Phone class was an interesting experience. We set up the class just like a real video game company. We had four programmers, three artists and two designers. I was elected to the role of Lead Programmer. Our goal was to push out five complete games for the windows 7 phone, and we only had two weeks to do it. How would we accomplish this? We decided it would be best to create our own engine that all of our games would build upon. Our common engine included an input system, a screen manager and an audio player. For the common engine, I wrote the input model code.

Nursing Home Escape
Our protagonist has been cooped up too long in the prison they call a 'Nursing Home'. He has planned it out, and it is now time to make a break for it! Tap the screen to jump over obstacles. Collect pills for extra points and to get a boost away from the nurse.

Castle Defense
After a nuclear war has decimated the world, clean food and water has become a scarce commodity. Luckily, you were smart enough to stock before the apocalypse. Unfortunatly there are masses of people who have learned of your stockpile. It is a good thing that you constructed strong walls and a defensive turret. Tap the screen to fire your laser. Spend points between levels for upgrades to your castle.

Tilt Maze
Remember those wooden marble mazes from your younger years? Now you can bring them with you and play on the bus! Tilt the phone to move the ball. For the phone emulator, press the Pause/Break key to activate the keyboard, and then use the arrows to simulate tilting.

Ship Shape
As the captain of the pleasure yacht 'The Crimson Connoisseur' you hold some crazy and wild parties! You are holding one of your famous parties today, the only problem is the harbor is a little cluttered. Drag the lesser ships out of your way and guide your yacht out of the harbor and onto a blissful cruise.

Loadee
You are the newest hire at the Loadee Party Supplies Distribution Company. The world of party supplies distribution is a fast paced one, where split second decisions can be very costly or very rewarding. Fill the orders as they come along the bottom conveyor. Tap a completed box to deliver it. The quicker you fill a box, the more points you will receive. You can deliver a failed box, but you will lose points for doing so. Be careful not to let your orders back up. If four orders stack up, you will be fired!
